To make it clear how misplaced criticism of the conditions in which chickens are raised is, there is no better way than to show it with videos that speak for themselves.
So, but just to give one example among many possible, we have asked permission to link this short article to a post by ‘Munters Agriculture Hub- Stockholm’ which contains a video that has nothing to do with what activists of various backgrounds who are used to circulating images from footage taken who knows where.
Those who work professionally have nothing to hide and therefore we publish evidence of how things are, knowing that there are bad apples, but that when they are intercepted they are subject to seizures and sanctions.
As you will see, and as you can also see from the photos preceding the video, the chickens are reared in environments that are always clean and also equipped (as in the case of this video) with important air quality control instruments.
It should be emphasised that the fans seen in this video are just one example of the amount of care farmers take to safeguard their own interests.
No farmer in his right mind could think of not treating the animals he breeds well because otherwise conditions would arise in his herd that would prevent the marketing of what he produces. In our blog, we do not advertise companies except to testify how the organisations’ accusations are pretentious, baseless and drawn from literally out-of-control situations that the industry actually denounces to protect its reputation.
However, our blog acts autonomously in support of the poultry sector despite the fact that the sector does not show itself capable of doing the same.
Our position therefore interprets the public consumer’s need to know things as they are, in the knowledge that the biggest mistake the poultry sector makes is to let activist organisations denigrate the work of thousands of farmers, jeopardising the entire supply chain and thus also its primary function of providing accessible, quality food at low cost.
Informed consumers are consumers who make informed decisions and are in fact the real employers of the industry, but if they hear only one voice, it is that voice they follow.
We hope that the sector will understand this, follow us and use us for the purpose we have set ourselves in its absence.
