AN EGG WILL SAVE US

Those who follow More About Chicken (https://moreaboutchicken.com/) will be able to see that our intention is to stimulate common sense reflections on the critical and instrumental positions that we record on the poultry sector which, inevitably, is confronted internationally on the general theme of food. Our aim is above all to try to dilute the extremist positions of the various assertors on ‘what and how’ the inhabitants of our planet should be fed. You will find no scientific claims from M.A.C.. We do, however, draw on direct information from the scientific sector and insiders with whom we maintain constant, calm and sincere discussions even in the articles and reflections we publish. References to scientific documents and testimonies are cited and linked instead.

For the rest, you will find common-sense, objective observations from in-depth investigations made only from reliable sources, if not ‘in the field’, as well as various verifications made directly. Arguments and reflections that anyone can manage to make on their own, taking care to verify the sources and bringing into play a healthy critical spirit and a little common sense. But since time, method and critical spirit are needed to do this, we at M.A.C. have come up with the following idea

Why did we decide to focus on the poultry world?

Those who contribute to producing the contents of M.A.C. are intimately aware that ‘ONE EGG WILL SAVE US‘ because it is now indubitable that the chicken egg is ‘unsurpassed’ in terms of nutrition and production.

An egg produced by a healthy animal is also internally sterile as well as being a simple, complete, cheap, ‘quick’ and highly nutritious food.

The hen’s egg is, in short, a brilliant but obvious solution to a problem, to respond to the universal need for access to inexpensive and nutritious food that, very soon, our World will have to deal with due to the hyperbolic population growth we are witnessing… with all that this entails.

We intend to stimulate in people an awareness of the social role each person plays and the contribution their presence inevitably makes to that of others.

We invite you to further your curiosity about the poultry sector by browsing this site and also using the keyword search tool available where you will find the magnifying glass symbol.
