Chicken farmers? Strange people.

All their income comes from the health, growth and quality of their chickens.

All of which depend ‘only’ on the care and attention to welfare they have to provide for the chickens they raise.

They have been dedicated to this for decades and constantly invest time, resources and money to develop a business that provides the world with quality food at low cost on a daily basis. Think about this when you go to the supermarket.

In every country their farming activities are heavily regulated and controlled by the national veterinary service.

Agriculture – noun: [farming]
The art of losing money by working 400 hours a month to feed people who think you are trying to kill them.

However they have always taken little or no interest in investing in communicating what they do, how and why they do it.

They have never thought it necessary to protect their image, believing that public recognition of the importance of their efforts was implicit. And it is precisely this naivety that has allowed anti-farming activist associations to discredit the poultry sector and criminalise it.
